About Phil Guzzo

I'm a sculptor, artist and video producer in Beaverton, Oregon. My dad was a sculptor, so I grew up around clay and never really stopped working with it - it just morphed digitally.

I've spent much of my career in creative media, in animation and stop-motion, early on at Will Vinton Studios and Bent Image Lab compositing on commercials and features. Now I do video production at MCM-TV and freelance exhibit work along with character sculpting and design. I'm still active in film and video, but I'm focusing more of my energy on sculpting and other dimensional work these days.

I work in both traditional media and digital (ZBrush, Nomad Sculpt), making fantasy and sci-fi figures, garage kits, tabletop miniatures, and museum exhibit pieces. I also build synthesizers and swing dance with my partner when I'm not sculpting or writing scripts. Drop me a line, I’m always open to new creative pursuits.
