About Phil Guzzo
I'm a fabricator, producer, and artist based in Beaverton, Oregon, with 20+ years building things across film, animation, museum exhibit work, and interactive installations.
My career has spanned broadcast production, animation, and stop-motion, with early notable work at Will Vinton Studios and Bent Image Lab compositing on commercials, features, and television. These days I split my time between hands-on fabrication, cold-cast bronze tactile objects for museum and NPS installations, large-scale sculptural pieces, mold-making and casting, and production design for film, including set design and model building for an upcoming sci-fi feature.
I also build boutique drone synthesizers under the Knob & Cube name, do video production and workshop instruction at McMinnville Community Media, and create AR and interactive installations through CETI, Portland's creative technology institute.
I work in traditional and digital media, ZBrush, Nomad Sculpt, Blender, and am comfortable moving between the shop, the screen, and the set. My parents were artists and my Dad was a sculptor, so working dimensionally has always been part of how I think.
Always open to interesting projects. Drop me a line.
